Blue Cruise Route
Bodrum - Gokova - Bodrum

Crew helps guests to settle in their cabins. On the first day, our boat will remain anchored in Bodrum Port. Guests are free to explore Bodrum. Shopping around the town is a very pleasant way of spending the day and the nightlife of Bodrum is lively with its bars, discos and restaurants bringing people together. Bodrum is a lovely picturesque town on the southwest Aegean coast of Turkey. The Mediterranean style white houses with purple bougainvilleas and the massive Castle of the Knights of Saint John attracts the visitors. The city was called Halicarnassus in the ancient times and was housing the Mausoleum, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Dinner and overnight at Bodrum municipal marina.

As guests are having breakfast, the guide and captain introduce the boat’s crew, provide information about the tour and the sites that will be visited. After breakfast and the briefing, depart for Alakisla Inlet. Ruins at the ancient Byzantine village may be visited. The evening meal and overnight stay at Cokertme, a lovely and picturesque little fishing village.

Depart for the sparkling blue waters of Tuzla Bay before breakfast. Lunch and swim stop at Tuzla. Afterwards we move to the Ingiliz Bay. A small creek on the west side of this bay is called Ingiliz Limani (English Harbour). The name English Harbour comes from the fact that British Navy boats hid here during Second World War. You will have time for swimming and snorkeling through plenty of pine-clad secluded small bays before the evening meal is served onboard. Overnight stay at English Harbour.

Morning swimming will soon become a part of your daily activities. After breakfast cruising to Karacasogut, a quaint fishing village surrounded by pine trees. A visit to Marmaris can be arranged from Karacasogut, takes about 20 minutes. Guests may also join our optional Dalyan Caunos Tour by jeep. A trip along the densely vegetated Dalyan River, seeing the Carian rock tombs, mud baths and Iztuzu Beach which is famous for the sea turtles called Caretta Caretta. The Caretta Caretta turtles are coming to this area to dig and lay their eggs in the sand. Returning to the boat in the evening, dinner and overnight stay at Karacasogut.

Sailing to Sedir Island, also known as Cleopatra Island after breakfast. This unique island with its small beach and unbelievable clear water is like an open-air museum. The ancient Helen-Roman site called Cedrai is located here. It was used as shelter by the knights of Rhodes in medieval times. Sightseeing on the island includes the church, amphitheater with 1500 guest capacity, necropolis, ruins of homes and the knights’ coat of arms. Inscriptions found on the island state Cleopatra came to the island and swam here. This is why the small cove on the island is called Cleopatra Beach. The sand in this cove resembles bulgur grains and is thought to be the remains of marine creatures; removing sand from the beach is forbidden. Legend has it that when Antonius saw how much Cleopatra liked the area, he had boats carry sand over here from Egypt. This type of sand is presently only found only in some places of Northern Africa. Right after lunch we sail to Ballisu Cove and to the marvellous natural harbour of Longoz, sheltered with huge pine forests, an exquisite wonder of nature. Guests may enjoy an evening stroll in the forest. Dinner and overnight at Longoz.

Depart for Kargili Bay before breakfast. Following lunch, move onto the pristine waters of Orak Island, which reminds an endless aquarium with sparkling turquoise waters. Here you will have the opportunity to swim in the crystal-blue waters. Guests are welcome to take a short walk on the shore. The evening meal and overnight stay at this beautiful island.

Early in the morning the engine will run and our yacht will cruise to Papucburnu. Till lunch time we will have enough time to explore the turquoise blue waters of this area. After lunch and a swim stop sail to Haremten Bay. Five o’clock tea is served in the cove, then the boat enters Bodrum Harbour.
